The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed regarding the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level created for intervention ordeals a large influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it read more challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a read more service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
