Matriculants Encouraged To Make An Application For NSFAS Funding

Because the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to make an application for funding with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

"The applying window will shut on 15 December 2024, and you will discover not many days left to submit applications. Suitable college students are urged to apply immediately to secure financial aid for their post-school education," Nkabane said.

Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Exams, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper three.

Nkabane stated this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of hard work and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their examinations with dedication and self-assurance.

With Just around 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and nsfas status check 155,215 part-time candidates from across South Africa sit for this yr's matric examinations, throughout South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public of the department's preparedness to administer the exams efficiently.
